Reykjavik, Iceland //
This adventure was actually just a 6 hour layover that ended up being an amazing experience in beautiful Iceland. Friends who happened to be there at the same time on their own trip, picked us up from the airport and drove us to see the stunning cliffs and coast.
It was one of the coolest, (+ coldest), most exhilarating experiences I've ever had! Nothing quite like being pushed around by the strong and freezing wind as you hike up a cliff. Then laying down so you don't get blown over as you look over the edge into the stunning and fierce waves below. It was definitely a layover to remember.
